Ramakrishna Sarada Mission Vivekananda Vidyabhavan (est. 1961) is a premier girls' college in Kolkata dedicated to quality education and holistic development of young minds. Built under the auspices of Sri Sarada Math, the College is affiliated to the West Bengal State University and is guided by the rules and regulations of the Higher Education Department, West Bengal and the University Grants Commission (UGC).

The College attracts students not only from the city, but also from various cities and townships in West Bengal and the adjoining states. Endowed with a lush green campus and residential facilities, it provides an excellent academic environment for girls at the UG and PG levels. Currently, the college offers B.A/B.Sc degree courses in 11 Honours and 14 General disciplines as well as M.A. degree in Philosophy.

The College has been awarded a prestigious “A’ rating from NAAC (2016) and is one of the best among all non-autonomous colleges in West Bengal. Apart from a strong focus on excellence in academics, the College also supports the cause of education by actively helping underprivileged students by providing scholarships and grants-in-aid and by waiving their tuition and examination fees.

Recently, the College has launched the 'RKSMVV School of Professional Studies', under which female students and young professionals (both from the College and outside) can opt for career-oriented courses such as Hospital Management, Public Relations and Advertisement, Psychiatric Counselling, Anchoring, GIS - Remote Sensing and its Applications, English for Academic Purpose and various tailor-made Computer courses at subsidized rates.
