Bank PO Entrance Exam
Overview
PO is the entry level position in the officer cadre in the bank. PO have a good career path and can make to top positions also in the bank. Recruitment of Bank PO is done through a written test followed by personal interview.The IBPS (Institute of Banking Personnel Selection) conducts the exam every year. You can apply online for this exam if you are eligible.
The exam has two phases:
Phase 1: Online Exams: The PO exam conducted in two parts:
1. Preliminary Exam (Common Written Exam - CWE): It is an online exam and also know as CWE(Common Written Exam). Preliminary Examination consisting of Objective Tests for 100 marks will be conducted online. This test would be of 1 hour duration consisting of 3 Sections as follows:

Note: Each test has its passing marks and participants has to pass each test to qualify for the next round. And negative marking will also take effect in the total score with 0.25 marks for every wrong answer. If a candidate leaves the question unanswered then there will be no negative marking.
2. Main Exam: Main exam consists of 5 tests for 200 marks and the duration would be 2 hours. The 5 sections are as follows

All sections have their marks and must qualify in each section to shortlisted for Interview. For passing marks detail participants have to check the exam syllabus details as it can be changed.3. Quantitative Aptitute 50 504. English Language 40 405. Computer Knowledge 20 20Total 200 200
Phase 2: Common Interview: After successfully passed in main Exam you are eligible for the interview round.
Note: Some banks conducted their PO exam itself like SBI, ICICI etc., so for the detail of that particular bank exam you need to the related bank website. It may be some different like group discussion is also a part of the process before the interview.
Age: The age of the candidate should be between 21 to 30 years. For some bank it start from 20. There is a relaxation in age also for reserved category up to 5 years.
Eligibility:
Minimum qualifications required is Graduation with 55% to 60% marks. But there is a relaxation in marks for reserved category.Love to hear, please share your thoughts in the comments
