Murgaon Education Society College of Arts & Commerce was established in 1972 and founded by Late Shri. Vasantrao Subrai Joshi. It is one of the premier institutes in Goa.

The college offers undergraduate courses in arts, commerce, management, and computer application. Also, a postgraduate course in commerce. The college also offers various value-added diploma and certificate courses that serve to enhance the knowledge and skills of the students.
