The Institute was establishing by the Govt. of Punjab under the guidelines of the Govt. of India in Aug-1959. The Institute has 19.6 Acres of Land. Centre of Excellence is also running in the institute in trade of (Leather Goods & Footwear) at present institute have 75 Units, 22 Trades and 1148 suctioned seat.
Objective:
The trainees of the institute get the training as per standard and requirement of the industry the institute is key between the industry and the trainees.
Mission:
To make the un-employed youth of the area to industry oriented skill man power and get them fully employed.
