Overview
Biotechnology is an exquisite amalgamation of various aspects of science like Molecular biology, Genetic Engineering, Nanotechnology, Plant tissue culture, Animal tissue culture Bioinformatics, etc.After their M.Sc in Biotechnology students can do Ph.D. by qualifying NET conducted by CSIR and apply for JRF/SRF also they can register for Ph.D. with a qualified guide of a recognized university by qualifying for the university DET exam.
They can also qualify for entrance examinations conducted by DBT, DST, IISER, DRDO, or DET for carrying out doctoral degrees. students can also apply to International Universities after qualifying for GRE and TOEFL.

Job opportunities in Government and Private sectors in Pharmaceutical companies, food industries and various industrial sectors, Hospitals, and Research Centres.
ENTREPRENEURSHIP OPPORTUNITIES: water purification industry, Enzyme production, etc.
