Radiology Technician (RT)

Overview

Radiology Technicians are trained to use advanced radio graphic equipment such as CT Scan (Computed Tomography), MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) along with basic X-ray equipment for creating images of a patient's internal anatomy. These images are used by doctors and specialists to aid in diagnosis of illness and injuries.
Radiology Technicians are trained to a proficiency level whereby they are able to comply with safety regulations involved in the use of radiography equipment while on the job. 

Radiology Technician may work as:
a.     Radiographer
b.     CT Scan Technician
c.     MRI Technician
d.     Application Specialist
e.     Radiologic Technician
f.     Faculty in Radiography program

Working areas include diagnostic centers, hospitals, medical equipment manufacturing companies, educational institutes etc.

10+2 with Science
